T-Mac is coming to Houston. And Francis is leavin town. Wonder how this one will turn out. One of the sports commentators said, when a player like Tracy McGrady wants to come to play on your team, you have to take the risk. I'm glad we took the risk. And I think this isn't a guaranteed situation - the Rockets may end up failing miserably for the next few years (does McGrady have the fire to really win? or does he want it dropped in his lap?), it'll be an exciting thing to watch, I think, or I hope.

So google is going to be offering a free e-mail service, called Gmail. It's yummy and should knock the socks off of hotmail, yahoo, and all the other competitors. I love google's philosophy that a company doesn't necessarily have to be evil in order to run their business or make money. So, because they've been great at doing what they've been doing so far, I have confidence they're gonna end up providing free or low-cost email the right way. I think Gmail will have non-instrusive contextual ads, which is not a problem ... Right now its in a beta stage, but hopefully soon they'll open up to the general public. Oh yeah, here's a little info about Gmail. They'll be offering 1GB of storage!!! That's slightly better than 4MB :)
